Out of a can, it goes flat in seconds, which makes it a little lifeless, but is still sooooo easy to drink, and an acceptable substitute when one can't make it to an Irish pub to get the real thing. |

Kilkenny Draught Irish Beer I have been a big fan of Kilkenny for the last three years, Kilkenny pours with a large creamy head and has a great taste, a very smooth drink weather poured from either the tap or can, Inside the can is a widget, which allows you to experience the pleasure of pouring it yourself (and getting good Head), and yes it is a Beer to be consumed from glasses not straight from the can. Overall a great Beer, and yes this is a beer I could drink all day (or until my top half meet the ground:+)

Starts bland and goes downhill from there. The widget's a gimmick & didn't work well. Ok, it is smooth, but in a really bland way. Can you tell i didn't like it ? It gets the 1.5 stars for being 440ml. |

Number of Lid Rivets: None, pfffft Label Adhesive: Printed on steel Bottle Colour: Bottle? This is a CAN! Bottle Shape: Very weird Contents: 440ml Kick: 4.3% Purchased By: Joseph Ok ok, so it comes in a can. Can't hold it's pedestrian appearance against it straight away. After all, it comes in a BIG can. 440ml makes it the most amonunt of beer contents so far into this review club. Anywho, it seems to go quite into some detail on how to pour the beer. This is rather insulting seeing it's in a can...and it's beer. Open & pour comes to mind. Again, maybe the Irish need more detailed help with this procedure. So it pours...and a nice head developes. It "looks" like a rather nice beer, actually. The empty can leaves me with a little suprise in the form of a maracca. We'll get to the noisy remains of the can later. The taste is VERY smooth. However, it kind of...leaves this dull aftertaste. Further investigation proves this beer is flatter that the Tubog crap we had first up. The head lulls you into a false sense of security with it's fizzy looking self. I really didn't like it that much at all. And after I sustained small injury trying to pry the worm from the can only to find it's some rock-hard pickled onion which doesn't even taste good...it was pretty much all over for this tinned brew.
