Cantina Pura Cerveza
When I first tried this beer, a month or so ago, I thought, hmm, not too bad - i wonder if it would be a good "session" beer. Well, this weekend I had the opportunity to test it out - and best of all, it was accompanied by a curry. Yes, this is the Elephant Beer of El Salvador, although at 355ml it's a bit better value for money. Lovely golden clear lager, little fizz and a crisp clean finish make this perfect for strong flavoured foods. Low gas and a subtle kick make it a great session beer. Think a cross between Sol and Miller and you're on the way there.
